- MIT License (MIT) Assets: The sound effects and music are licensed separately: audio/LICENSE credits boost.ogg, wind.ogg and destroyed.ogg as Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported and crash.ogg and bg.ogg as public domain. The bundled libraries keep their own terms: three.js r50dev (MIT, mrdoob and contributors), Stats.js r10 (MIT, mrdoob), Detector.js, ShaderExtras.js and libs/postprocessing/* (MIT, the three.js example authors), DAT.GUI (Apache License 2.0, Data Arts Team, Google Creative Lab) and leap-0.4.1.min.js (the Leap Motion JavaScript SDK). The textures and geometries were committed by the author and fall under the repository licence; graphics credits name Charnel (HexMKI base model) and Nobiax (track texture). All of it is redistributed byte-for-byte and credited in public/games-runtime/hexgl/ATTRIBUTION.md. The repository LICENSE is an unmodified MIT text, kept verbatim at public/games-runtime/hexgl/LICENSE and served at /games-runtime/hexgl/LICENSE. The nine files under bkcore/hexgl/ that still carry the pre-2015 CC BY-NC 3.0 header (CameraChase, Gameplay, HUD, HexGL, Ladder, RaceData, ShipControls, ShipEffects and tracks/Cityscape) add a NonCommercial restriction, but still grant redistribution and modification; Bytelane serves the game unmodified with no advertising, analytics or tracking, so both readings are satisfied. That reading depends on the portal staying non-commercial. Packaging touched only index.html and launch.js (removed the Google Analytics snippet and the off-origin icon/OG URLs, added a black page background, made the WebGL-missing handler inert); no gameplay, rendering or asset file was touched. See docs/games/hexgl.md.
About HexGL
A WipEout-flavoured anti-gravity racer: three laps of a neon cityscape, air-brakes for the tight corners, speed pads on the straights, and a shield that drains every time you scrape a wall. WebGL and three.js put the camera behind the ship.
